Lorena Alvarado

Lorena is a director, and editor working within the intersection of documentary film and fiction.

Lorena was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, received her B.A in Media and Film Studies from Emerson College, and was awarded a fellowship at Fabrica Research Center in Italy.

Her works has been awarded Vimeo Staff Picks and screened on the PBS’ series POV.

 
 

 
 

Kris’ work fuses fun surprises, raw realism and visual sleights of hand in a huge range of styles involving motion design, VFX, character design, and filmmaking.

His recently film Pa’lante won the Special Jury Price at SXSW in 2019.

 

 

Guillermo is a director, screenwriter and producer from Santiago, Dominican Republic. His debut feature film On the Road, Somewhere premiered in 2015 in the Ibero-American Ópera Prima Competition at the Miami International Film Festival and also competed for the Jordan Alexander Ressler Screenwriting Award at MIFF. Guillermo’s works as an up-and-coming young director have been selected and awarded in various international film festivals including the San Diego Latino Film Festival, IFF Panamá, Chicago Latino Film Festival, Cine Las Americas Film Festival, Zanzibar International Film Festival and Zlín Film Festival, among others.

His currently documentary was selected by the Tribeca Film Institute works-in-progess program.
