Summer 2016 Internship Sessions
Two eight-week part-time programs are available for all internships. Interns are expected to dedicate at minimum 10 hours per week.

Flexibility is available for candidates who wish to participate in both sessions
We are looking for two part-time production interns per session that have experience being on set, have an advanced understanding of client relations, have excellent communications skills, be self motivated, be able to keep productions on track and be alert to fine details. Interns will have a hand in orchestrating all aspects of producing documentary and commercial content including pre production, production and post production.
We are looking for two experienced part-time editors per session that have an advanced understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects. Editors will not be isolated to only editing tasks, they will also be included in team meetings, outreach campaigns, content collaboration and planning of pre production, production and post production of shoots both on location and in studio. It is essential that applicants have advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop Premiere and After Effects.
Photography/ Videography Internship
We are looking for two experienced part-time photographers and videographers per session that have an advanced understanding of manual camera functions, including shutter speed, aperture, ISO/ASA and focal length. Photographers/videographers will not be isolated to only photo/video tasks, they will also be included in team meetings, outreach campaigns, content collaboration and planning of pre production, production and post production of shoots both on location and in studio. Applicants must be fluent in understanding manual camera functions, including shutter speed, aperture, ISO/ASA and focal length.
Requirements of all Applicants
- Strong experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop Premiere and After Effects.
- Must be a great communicator; we work closely with many clients and each other.
- Must have an entrepreneurial drive and a take charge attitude.
- Must excel at independent problem solving.
- Must be punctual.
- Must be able to meet reasonable deadlines.
Tasks for all interns will include assisting in day to day operations including but not limited to preparing for client meetings, organizing equipment, preparing the studio for shoots or tours and assisting with social impact campaigns and outreach.
Internships are unpaid but we want to give interns the opportunity to produce their own content while interning at Windy. We encourage interns to organize a formal pitch of their own social impact content ideas including the storyboard, production timeline, initial sources and cost of completion. If your project is approved you will receive advising support, monetary funds to assist you in completing the project and access to equipment including a Canon 1D, sound device, lavs, mics, lenses and a 2,500 sq. ft. photo and video studio.
