Client: Boston University School of Education

Boston, 2016

Boston University has a unique approach to their graduate program at the School of Education. By drawing on their personal backgrounds, students immerse themselves into their field from the beginning. What's the effect? By the time they graduate from BU, they have the real-world experience to lead a classroom, or in Riley's case, coach athletes one-on-one.

This project was a great opportunity for us to hone our approach of a character-driven narrative. Not all clients immediately understand why fewer voices can create a stronger message than more voices in short-form stories, but from the beginning, BU had Riley and Jen in mind. This was also our first collaboration with Small Army, an agency in Boston we've admired for a while. They were instrumental in crafting the story and making sure production went smoothly from start to finish.
