There's going to be 10 billion people on the planet by the year 2050. That's way too many way too soon. 

MIT is home to lots of engineers and scientists, but they will be the first to tell you that understanding the problem is only half the battle. To actually solve a problem, they need to work together with people from government to business to education to aid. So this October, they're hosting a conference in Cambridge, geared toward answering some of the world's toughest problems, with four specific directions - fuel, cure, make, and learn. 

For us, Solve was a great opportunity to try to tackle a very open-ended story. Usually, we have the luxury of following a narrative or single set of characters. Here, the client was very intentional that they did not want the story to be about themselves, so we forced ourselves to go into the real world and try to create imagery that speaks to everyone.
