Hello Brooklyn

After nine incredible years in the East Boston shipyard, we are moving out of our studio.

The studio was good to us. When we first moved in, it had been abandoned for ten years. We spent the next year or two hitting it with a hammer on nights and weekends, and slowly turned it into a full sound stage, dressing rooms, client lounge and full kitchen, edit suite and conference rooms.

The studio saw a ton of action over the years. We built some fun sets, threw some incredible parties, and made some great memories.

But last year, the roof still leaked every time it drizzled. The new crossfit gym next door made recording audio challenging. And with construction proposed across the street, we knew it was time to get out.

So... what's next? We're spreading out, with bricks in a few different cities!

Brooklyn, NY – Headquarters

Harvey moved to NY in 2017, and seven years later most of our team is there – Lily and Kerry leading production and post, Christopher leading the camera department and Cary editing. With our reps Thick and Thin and most of our clients in New York, moving the HQ there makes a ton of sense. We're super excited to be based out of Industry City, neighbors with Abel Cine, Lux Lighting, The Garage and other production friends who we love working with. Down the hall from our office, we've got access to white cyc studios, edit suites and conference rooms. If you're in the area, come say hi!

Boston, MA – Satellite office

Will, Tripp and our senior editor Annette are still holding it down in Boston! We're right in Downtown Crossing... much more convenient than across the harbor in Eastie. Come by!

Manchester, NH – New studio under construction

We're excited to share that we're partnering up with our friends over at Big Brick to build a new studio in Manchester, NH. Yes, it's an old brick building... we know... we have a problem. We're calling it Queen City Studios, and it's going to be 3x larger than our studio space in East Boston. Stay tuned for updates on progress with construction!

Super excited about the changes coming. Moving out of the studio is definitely the end of an era, but we're super excited about all the changes coming. Onward!
